Lead Gen Through Local Networking

Has anyone had success networking with a non typical person that lead to a positive lead? I am running a local search and wondering if there are any other types of people outside of - lawyers, accountants, wealth managers etc, that are worth developing a relationship with.

If networking is done well, it can actually produce results. I would say incorporate 2-3 strategies at the same time. Make sure the tactics are synergistic where one leverages the other to produce even better results. Emotionally though it feels better to track your progress as you make direct contact to prospects.
