Hi everyone,

I am a first-time individual buyer trying to navigate the transactional / administrative part of the deals.

Could you please recommend lawyers with low mid-market deals experience. Also, what would be the best terms to work with them? Should I pay the retainer or based on the document volume? Contacts of good lawyers in the U.S. EST time zone and examples of the payment structures would be very helpful.

Thanks,
Vitaly

Thanks for the tag ^redacted‌ and ^redacted‌‌‌ - ^redacted‌ I would be happy to connect. I'm the head of the Private Equity and Financial Sponsors group at Cullen and have a ton of experience working with searchers and Independent sponsors. We’re very flexible on fee structure (no retainer, no milestone payments and fees capped usually at 1-2% of the purchase price, payable at closing). Shoot me a DM or email redacted and I'd be happy to chat.

Hi Vitaly - happy to speak anytime. Looks like you have plenty of options. Given where you are, my firm is happy to come to an amicable arrangement. This could be a blend of retainer/fixed fee, or simply fixed fee, with staged out payments.

let me know if you would like to connect. My calendly:
