Keeping aging ownership on

Hey there, anyone have experience buying a company but strucrutung deal as "seller" financing so that old owner stays on for a period of time and then gets paid out as you take over the business?

If yes, how did you strucutre this with your investors?

Hey Juan, yes I am familiar with these types of arrangements. There are actually quite a few ways to structure based on a few variables. How long does the seller want to stay? What kind of responsibilities will they have? Will the owner have any sort of performance milestones, etc. Message me if you need to talk it through.
