Japan Search Fund

What are multiples like in Japan vs. the USA in the microcap space (say 1 mill to 10 mill in ebitda)? How are deals financed there usually?

Looking to exit my company and start something in Japan, is it tough for outsiders to break in?

We are looking at this to acquire a distribution business first year. So far we have found most businesses trade at 1x earnings or less. There is a $50MM revenue business for sale for $3MM
