I'm looking into taking the 5-day Booth executive M&A Course at the University of Chicago and wanted to see if the group here had some insights into their experience. What they were expecting to get out of it vs. what they did get out of it and any things to prepare for. Have the post-course materials and groups been valuable? Any feedback and candid input is greatly appreciated.

If it's taught by Steve Morrissette then its worth it. Great guy and amazing teacher.

Hi! I don’t know about this specific executive course, but to me it looks pretty expensive for 5 days and seems maybe more targeted at a different audience than searchers. I saw the professors list and I did have Gregory D. Bunch as a professor for New Venture Strategy at Booth. He was excellent when it came to VC and how to build a startup, really strong in those areas, though I can’t speak to his M&A focus. Just my two cents!
