Want to buy a physician's practice in the state of GA but the broker is telling me I can't do an MSO in this state. Does anybody know for sure? The practice is absentee run and there are other physicians there who could serve as medical director.

Georgia is a CPOM state, like Texas, and I'm sure I can run an MSO in Texas.

Any attorneys with experience writing the sales agreement for a health care practice in GA for a non-physician investor?

Thanks ^redacted‌! ^redacted‌ Best bet is to drop a note to someone at the office of Greenberg Traurig in Atlanta. They have a robust healthcare group. Perhaps someone here can make an intro?

I have been in touch with GA attorneys who have done MSOs for investors buying medical practices, but they are telling me that GA regulations on pharmacies are different and they don't know the law there.
