First timer searcher. I have a list of investors narrowed down to 5-6 along with their email contact. Having never reached out to investors before I'm looking for any advice.

What 3-4 things are a must to include in my first contact with an investor? I assume better to keep the introduction concise, but also what to be respectful of his/her time by providing enough useable information. Thanks!

Would agree with the article. I'd probably suggest a concise and to the point email that clearly lays out what you're looking for, and then attach the more detailed information that supports it (e.g., a teaser) if they're interested. Shows respect for their time but allows the keen to dig in more.

In terms of the 3-4 things, I'd say 1) who you are (incl. relevant background details in one sentence), 2) what you're aiming to do (raising a search fund to invest in x), and 3) what you're asking for (investors looking to take x number of units). Each one sentence, and conclude by stating more information is in the attached teaser.
