This is a hands-on opportunity to work directly with the firm’s Managing Director on real-world M&A and investment banking activities — including acquisition target research, founder outreach, pipeline development, and strategic market analysis. The role is ideal for ambitious students or early-career professionals interested in: - Investment Banking - Private Equity - Search Funds / ETA - M&A Advisory - Business Development - Entrepreneurship Responsibilities: - Research and identify acquisition targets in the IT services and software sectors - Support deal origination and outbound sourcing initiatives - Build and maintain CRM and deal pipeline trackers - Conduct company, industry, and competitive market research - Assist with outreach to founders, executives, and intermediaries - Support strategic business development and relationship management efforts - Prepare concise research summaries and deal notes - Help identify opportunities to improve workflows and systems using modern AI and automation tools Ideal Candidate: - Strong interest in M&A, finance, investing, or entrepreneurship - Excellent communication and research skills - Highly organized, proactive, and resourceful - Comfortable working in fast-moving, entrepreneurial environments - Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities - Curious about AI, automation, and modern business technology tools - Prior experience in finance, sales, research, business operations, or AI/automation tools is a plus About Solganick: Solganick is a data-driven investment bank and M&A advisory firm focused on information technology (IT) services and software companies. Interns will gain direct exposure to live deal sourcing, founder outreach, and lower middle market M&A strategy while working closely with firm leadership.
