Introduction / UK Biogas Co-Investment

Dear Searchfunder Community, I would like to take the opportunity to introduce myself and bring to the network an opportunity for qualified investors to access an institutional-scale, PE-backed biogas platform in the UK, amongst other investment opportunities, which my family office is also investing in. Introduction on Myself: Through my firm, OLTA Advisory, I operate as an independent sponsor — sourcing, structuring, and investing in opportunities on a deal-by-deal basis. My focus spans Infrastructure, Private Equity, and Real Estate. Alongside my own transactions, I also support searchers in accessing capital and structuring deals, as I strongly believe in the search fund model and its role in long-term value creation. Until the end of last year, I was part of the Infrastructure Investment Team at $85bn+ asset manager GCM Grosvenor in London, where I focused on value-add infrastructure investments and played a key role in fundraising and deal-making across the DACH region. Earlier in my career, I supported my family in expanding our business in Istanbul through strategic investments in small industrial companies. I began my professional journey in the Investment Banking division of Raiffeisen Bank International in Vienna. I studied Management at Babson College and the London School of Economics, and I have been a CFA Charterholder since 2019. Introduction on InfraWealth: When it comes to infrastructure opportunities, I have joined forces with my former GCM colleague Jonathan Ludmir and his platform InfraWealth, a registered advisor in Switzerland which he founded in###-###-#### Since then, on a deal-by-deal basis, InfraWealth has completed and advised on five co-investment transactions worth approximately USD 750 million representing 35 qualified European and Latin American family offices & HNWIs as well as institutional PE firms. My role as Partner is to both contribute new investment opportunities to the existing investor base and expand the platform’s investor network. Jonathan serves as part of the Industrial Advisory Board of one of the largest mid-market infrastructure managers in Europe. He is a Harvard University graduate. Specific Opportunity being Advised On: Currently, Jonathan and I are working on a co-investment in the UK biogas sector. Alongside a >GBP 10 billion private equity sponsor — with whom we successfully co-invested during our GCM days and again through InfraWealth — we are investing in a leading operational platform with a strongly long-term contracted & subsidized asset base across 10+ plants. The sponsor recently acquired the remaining 50% from a co-owner and is syndicating part of the investment to InfraWealth. We are investing at the same valuation as the sponsor, with around GBP 40 million of the GBP 150 million allocation reserved for our investors. The balance will be taken up by fund LP co-investors and the sponsor’s active fund.
