Introduction - Future Coast Guard "Retiree" New to the Space

Hello All, just wanted to share short intro of myself to the group. I am a 17 year Coast Guard member recently moved from Alaska to Northern IL looking at retirement from the service when I hit my 20 in the summer of 29'. Myself (and family) have decided ETA will most likely be the next chapter, so I am bathing (which at times may feel like drowning) in all the information, collective knowledge, and lessons learned that i can in the space. I've read the books, listened to the pods, and joined the groups. I appreciate the hive mind here and can already tell this is a great resource and network. My deepest level subject matter expertise revolves around different facets of the maritime industry, so I'm exploring options in and around that field, but still working on building out and refining my buy box. Im always open to meeting new people and making new connections so feel free to reach out.
