Hi all, My name is Parish Bhumgara, and I am a fourth-year associate lawyer at Gardiner Roberts LLP in Toronto. GR is a full-service, mid-sized Bay Street law firm. My practice focuses on public and private M&A in the mid-market space, and personally, I am primarily interested in and have significant experience advising/assisting on buy-side or sell-side deals in the $10M-$75M purchase price range. That being said, other colleagues prefer to focus on smaller sized deals in the $1M-$10M range, and I have worked with several partners on multiple $100M+ M&A files, so please feel free to reach out regardless of deal size and I can make the introductions. More generally, we have the bench strength (nearing 100 lawyers) and partner expertise (corporate commercial, securities, tax, IP, insolvency, commercial real estate, litigation, transportation and more) to handle all kinds of matters, whether for corporate clients (equity/debt financings, secured lending, private placements, IPOs/listings, etc. etc.) Lawyers at GR have a breadth of experience and have worked on files with deal sizes ranging from $1M all the way to $1.3B for a variety of private and public entities. On the personal client side, our tax, trusts and estates group regularly ensure transactions are structured in the most tax efficient manner and advise on reorganizations, tax planning, family trusts, and wills and estates, among other things. I am excited to start sharing and learning from the knowledge on here. Growing my network and connecting with searchers, operators, and other advisors in the community is something I am passionate about, so I plan on being an active member. Always happy to connect, whether you are looking to expand your network or need someone to bounce ideas off, feel free to message me here, or by email (my response time will likely be quicker) at redacted Looking forward to connecting and if you made it this far, thank you!
