## Internship – Startup Product Development & Launch (Unpaid)
**Location:** IN PERSON REQUIRED IN MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA
**Duration:** 3–6 months (flexible)
**Commitment:** Part-time or Full-time (flexible schedule)
### About the Role
We are an early-stage startup preparing to launch our first product. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to work directly with the founding team across product development, go-to-market planning, and early execution.
This is not a “coffee-run” internship. You’ll be involved in real decisions, real work, and real constraints that come with building something from zero to one. If you’re curious about how products actually get built and launched—not just how they’re talked about—this role is for you.
Because the work includes collaboration, testing, and live sessions with the founding team, this is a **hybrid role**: some work can be done remotely, but **regular in-person availability in the Mountain View, California area is required**.
### What You’ll Work On
Depending on your interests and strengths, you may support:
* Early product development and iteration (research, testing, feedback loops)
* Market and user research to inform product decisions
* Go-to-market planning and launch preparation
* Competitive analysis and positioning
* Operational setup and early process building
* Ad-hoc projects that arise in the day-to-day reality of an early startup
### Who This Is For
We’re looking for someone who is:
* Curious, proactive, and comfortable with ambiguity
* Interested in startups, product, and entrepreneurship
* Able to switch between strategic thinking and hands-on execution
* Comfortable taking ownership with limited structure
* Based in or able to commute to the Mountain View, CA area
### Qualifications
* Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college or university (flexible on major)
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
* Prior startup or product experience is a plus, but not required
### What You’ll Gain
* Direct exposure to how a startup is built from the ground up
* Close collaboration with founders and early team members
* Practical, real-world experience across product and launch
* Tangible work you can reference in future roles
* Mentorship and meaningful responsibility (not busywork)
### Compensation
* This is an **unpaid internship**
* Academic credit may be available depending on your institution
### How to Apply
Please submit:
* A brief resume or LinkedIn profile
* A short note explaining your interest in startups and early-stage product development
We’re looking for someone excited by the challenge of building something from scratch and learning by doing.
