North Edge is seeking to acquire a majority interest in a stable, profitable business in the Greater Toronto Area with $0.5M–$1.5M in EBITDA. Opportunity: We are looking to recruit a highly motivated private equity associate to join our team. This internship offers hands-on experience/training encompassing the responsibilities of launching and operating a search fund seeking to acquire a lower-middle market company. The opportunity offers relevant experience for individuals looking to pursue careers in private equity, investment banking, or entrepreneurship. Associates will receive direct mentorship from the Managing Partners and have an opportunity to oversee the firm’s analyst interns. Responsibilities: ● Evaluate and screen prospective target acquisitions ● Financial Modelling: Lead financial modelling on active deals ● Management/oversight of analyst interns ● Assist in cold outreach including calls, emails and LinkedIn messages ● Conduct due diligence including financial, legal and operations ● Lead preparation of memos and presentations for prospective investors and lenders ● Own CRM and deal pipeline (multiple, industry, lead, etc.) ● Oversee communications and follow ups using tech stack Requirements: ● Applicants should be currently enrolled in or pursuing a master's graduate degree (ie.
