Does any international MBA has experience raising a search fund to operate in the US? I'm looking to learn about how international people have successfully overcome the VISA issue. Thank you so much in advance!

Are you doing the traditional model or self funded? For the traditional it will depend on your investors. They will have an extra risk by funding you since you will have to solve the visa issue. Some International searchers have used the O-1 visa. Another possibility is the E-2 visa but you will have to do it in 2 stages. First the searching period and then structure some way to make it work when you acquire a business.

Hi, Michael. The E2 is a great option, if you are from a treaty country. Happy to speak with you anytime about how this works. Reach out at your convenience. WhatsApp +###-###-#### or redacted
