Investly Capital is seeking to acquire a lower middle market, Texas-based business in manufacturing, value-added distribution, or business services.
Unpaid Internship Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented intern interested in gaining hands-on experience in entrepreneurship, private equity, and operations. This internship will provide valuable insight into the process of searching for, identifying, selecting, and acquiring a small to medium-sized business.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in identifying potential acquisition targets across a variety of industries
• Develop and maintain proprietary databases including research
• Provide administrative support as needed
• Conduct industry analysis, research, and competitive landscape assessments
• Participate in deal sourcing and screening processes to enhance proprietary deal flow
• Assist in due diligence, including reports, financial analysis, and market research
• Support the team in preparing internal and external presentations
• Perform any other tasks deemed necessary for an effective search
Requirements & Qualifications:
• MUST be living and studying in the United States
• Ideally Texas-based, but candidates from other states (central/eastern) may apply
• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Marketing
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Ability to maintain focus and accuracy in repetitive tasks
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Prior experience is a plus, but not required
