I'm in regular contact with CEOs/owners of franchise brands as I own two franchise related companies, Visa Franchise & Vetted Biz. These franchise brands range anywhere from $200k to $2m+ in EBITDA. Generally the ones over $2M EBITDA are acquired by private equity groups. Even $1M EBITDA can be acquired by a PE backed platform company for a 7-10X multiple.
Are any searchers interested in buying a franchisor? This would entail owning the franchise brand and possibly the corporate units connected with the brand.
I'd like to figure out a way to make a win-win-win for you (the searcher), the seller (franchise brand) and me (advisor).
Also, I am interested to hear from the community on ways for an advisor like myself to be compensated upfront or overtime advising on the continued franchise operation...
