Industry Expert Needed: Insurance P&C Industry

We are currently working on the acquisition of a company that works predominantly with the major P&C insurance companies in the USA. We want to learn more about the industry and the needs and wants of the insurance company customers. Does anyone in this community know of an industry expert in the insurance industry? Ideally, we're looking for someone who has worked in procurement and is familiar with the different vendors who work for the insurance companies. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
