I would love to discuss with you Mike. I own a business that designs/builds niche automated industrial equipment. From my limited experience, many of these businesses are very reliant on one or two key people. I’ve looked to add on a few smaller deals but always ended up finding that the biz was way too reliant on the founder/owner. Since I’d assume most projects are probably custom, I’d recommend ensuring that there is some depth in the engineering/design team.
