Independent Sponsor who will step in and run for 2-3 years
All, I'm attempting to be an independent sponsor but will step in personally for deals for the first 2-3 years as CEO. I'm an experienced CEO who has multiple wins and exits (but working for investors and want to improve my economics by going IS). Curious if others have been down this path and what capital sources were tapped and if folks were able to double-dip in terms of typical IS terms + getting CEO economics for the period of time one sits in that chair.
