Job Title: Independent Sponsor / Search Fund Intern - Sourcing & Analysis Company: 2Northside Group (https://www.2northside.com/) Location: Remote Commitment: Part-Time (Flexible Hours, up to 30 hours/week) Duration: 12-16 weeks (Flexible Start/End Dates) Compensation: Unpaid (Potential for bonus upon successful closing of an acquisition) About Us: 2Northside Group was founded by Boris and Svetlana Bronshteyn, entrepreneurs and operators with successful exit who've spent their careers building and growing companies. We are not a typical private equity firm or a "Holdco" seeking to add multiple companies to a portfolio. Instead, we are an independent sponsor searching for one exceptional business to acquire, operate, and grow, pouring all our energy and deep tech/operational expertise into its long-term success. We focus on technology businesses and offer flexible partnership structures tailored to a founder's goals. Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated, resourceful, and analytical Intern/Analyst to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the entire search lifecycle, from deal sourcing and outreach to financial analysis and evaluation to negotiations to closing. You will work directly with the 2Northside principals, playing a critical role in our acquisition efforts. Key Responsibilities: - Deal Sourcing & Research: Identify and research potential acquisition targets within specific technology and service sectors; build and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities. - Outreach & Engagement: Assist in drafting and executing targeted email outreach campaigns to business owners and industry contacts. - Financial Analysis & Template Building: Assist in developing and refining templates for financial analysis, valuation, and company evaluation; support preliminary financial due diligence. - Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitive landscapes, and potential business niches. - Database Management: Maintain and organize company and industry databases. What We're Looking For: - Currently pursuing or recently completed an undergraduate or graduate degree, preferably in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field. - A strong, demonstrated interest in private equity, M&A, entrepreneurship through acquisition, or small business operations. - Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail. - Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets is required; experience with financial modeling concepts is a plus. - Self-motivated, intellectually curious, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. - Exceptional written communication skills, particularly for crafting professional emails. - !!!
