Imminent investment opportunity from serial acquiror

I am undertaking a roll-up of specialist logistics companies in the UK (visologistics.com). 2 acquisitions done, and a 3rd due to close in the next 4 weeks.

This latest acquisition is a forced sale, and will be funded entirely by the target (GBP £1m receivables book; GBP £200k acquisition price). However optically the £200k Day 1 payment needs to come from me as the buyer, rather than from the target. So I am in the market for a £100-200k short term loan (1-2 months to be safe) to cover this Day 1 payment until liquidity is released from the receivables book.

I'm happy to offer a charge on one of my existing companies as security, and agree on a suitable fee for the service. And happy to offer first refusal on future equity investment opportunities for my roll-up (so far 100% self-funded).

This is a type of funding that institutions are not familiar with (I have 1 offer, but frankly it's not suitable for purpose). I'm looking to have this lined up within the next 2 weeks max.

Feel free to contact me directly: redacted

Thanks!

Hey @alexi, have you tried to either defer that payment by 1 or 2 months with interest, or, if it's possible, see if you can bring forward those invoices for a customer discount?
