If everything runs through the founder…

I’m convinced most operational problems aren’t talent issues — they’re structure issues. When roles aren’t clearly defined, accountability isn’t explicit, and decisions quietly funnel back to one person, even strong teams start to stall. It doesn’t happen all at once. It shows up as missed follow-through, slower execution, and founders feeling like they can’t step away. If everything still requires the founder to push it forward, the system isn’t actually a system yet.
