Ideas on how to search and value companies in the agricultural sector?

I know it's a complex sector: starting from its dependance to the land you're working in, and up to the variations in the cyclical activity. Any advice?

Yes, I have done a number of valuations for agricultural companies. Capital IQ has some valuation multiples that you can extract. Trading multiples can also be used for making pricing decisions. Typically would advice DCF's depending on the case in particular

I am not knowledgeble in the area, but you could maybe start with the IBIS World reports. I saw they have a couple of them in the agricultural sector, and seems that we can access them for free, included in the searchfunder membership
