Considering most students looking for a search fund internship are new and lack relevant experience, what characteristics are you looking for in an ideal candidate?

It depends on what they're being asked to do, but I'd say the same characteristics that make a good searcher/business partner make a good intern. Curiosity, the ability to think from first principles, a growth mindset, and tenacity when taking on new problems. Are you looking to hire or for an internship?

Gabriel, I agree. I also think these qualities are extremely useful for life overall. I’m an aspiring Investment Banker looking for a search fund internship at the moment.
