It's meant to outline the "search to close" process in six steps and while it's geared more toward online businesses, most of it applies generally across the board for SMB acquisitions.

It's geared more toward beginners but it's a fairly quick read and you might find some useful resources in there regardless of your search/acquisition experience :)
