I built a self-hosted listing scraper so I wake up to an AI-created deal flow every morning

redacted I got tired of repeating the same business-for-sale searches and manually reviewing every new listing. I also wanted filters that listing marketplaces do not provide, such as rejecting businesses priced above a specific multiple of SDE. So I built an open-source, self-hosted tool that connects a listing scraper to Claude or ChatGPT. Every morning, my AI agent: 1. Reads my saved search URLs and screening criteria. 2. Asks the scraper to sweep those searches. 3. Adds new listings to Notion without duplicating existing ones. 4. Rejects listings that clearly fail an objective rule. 5. Opens and archives the full page for listings that pass or need more information. 6. Marks those listings for my review and gives me a morning report. I am not selling a subscription. You do not pay me, and I do not receive commissions from the third-party services used in the setup. You deploy the scraper yourself. You control the Notion database, search URLs, triage rules, browser profiles, and scheduled prompts. Your deal flow and process stay in accounts you control. There are still some modest third-party costs: hosting, a residential proxy, CloakBrowser Pro, and your Claude or ChatGPT plan. The exact amount depends on usage, but the goal is to avoid paying for another dedicated listing-monitoring or AI-triage service.
