Do acquirers do this before buying?
If so, any recommendations?

Or, what about after the acquisition, great groups to use for outsourced HR?

thanks.

I have a lot of fractional HR people in my network if you are interested, please feel free to DM me or shoot me an email. Definitely essential to do pre-acquisition to understand compliance, likely pay increases, churn, etc.

For HR tech, I wrote this up a few months back: https://philstrazzulla.com/2024/03/18/hr-software-buying-for-smb-owners/

Hi ^redacted‌- My company, Seay Management Consultants, does exactly this! I recently exited from an HR firm and acquired this one as a searcher, so I am very familiar with HR diligence on both the buy and sell side. We regularly complete HR audits for businesses and would be happy to assist. We also provide an outsourced hr support team for a longer-term solution. My email is redacted If you want to go the PEO route for a long-term solution, ^redacted‌ (also a searcher) owns Aspen HR and is a great option for new business owners!
