It was a great opportunity to get a wide range of perspectives in such a condensed amount of time. Lots of takeaways, but a few main ones for me: 1)Be and position yourself as an entrepreneur, not a PE firm. 2)Optimism tempered with realism is essential throughout the search process. 3)Outside facilitators can be a great way to run a dialogue with employees early after acquisition to identify what's wrong and what needs change.
