How many companies do you target until you close a transaction?

What is your ratio? How many LOIs or IOIs do you send out to various companies? Do you contact 200 prospects before you close one transaction?

Dustin, all depends on your search parameters - industry, size, geography. It also changes as your search progresses and you get better at evaluating targets and structuring deals. I ran a geography focused search and a ratio estimate might be 12 prospects: 4 offers : 1 LOI. Hope that helps a little.
