How I hyper-boosted my proprietary deal flow

I feel I owed it to the Searchfunder community to share a resource I found helpful in my own search process since I have gotten so much out of this community (e.g. friends, learnings, tips for tools, etc).
For reference, I am a self-funded searcher and long-term operator in healthcare looking to acquire a health services company with $2-10MM of EBITDA. My strategy was only about proprietary outreach and I didn’t know how to best do that. I was referred to a specialist who turned out to be amazing and able to follow a disciplined outreach campaign that led to an LOI.
SPECIAL NOTE I am writing this post to recommend a service because I think it is great and the people are super sharp. I am not getting paid to do it. I don’t own any part of his company or get an incentive.
Cemal Koman was a former PE analyst in the Search world, started his own firm (https://searchfundplus.com/), built a proprietary AI tool last year, and has 4-5 analysts working for him now. I hired him on a reasonable retainer paid each month with a standard success fee on a closed deal. He built me a customized, sophisticated campaign where he found the right leads (e.g. thousands), screened them with analysts, reached out to them in a 6-10 email campaign, and queued it up for me to run with it. The process worked.
His tool is awesome. Cemal hasn’t done any marketing but just completed a demo of it here: https://www.loom.com/share/7bdc2af7b5f445eaa177a9106a7b3757?sid=0b59d60d-46b3-4f83-ae08-d0fe7455978a
If you want to use your time as efficiently as you can, I would shoot Cemal an email redacted Hope it helps!

I am not a AI expert but I hadn't seen any other tools out there for the automation yet that Cemal used. I did not scan every product in dealsourcing but there are some really cool ways we personalized messages and found companies in the first place and then use a heat map to find competitors.
Yes, I did use 2 other firms (that this community knows well) and it wasn't fit. I gave up on each after 3 months. I didn't they cared about my search or made some mistake (sending messages with misspellings, lack of personalization, etc).
This is just my two cents. Take it for what you want. Marc
