How much:
- Time
- Money/Fees
- Efforts/Process does it currently take?

What are some of the pain points that you experience, while you repeat the process every few months? What software do you use to manage this?

Online communities such as Searchfunder, Trends, EtA, Chief Operators, Twitter, etc are a wealth of information and networking. I think 75% of the time, people can find the right contacts from those places for free.
Then there are the expert networks like GLG, Zintro, Alphasites, Deepbench, etc. Those are great but can be expensive. Lastly there are platforms like DueDilio, Bluwave, FastCTO, that connect people with the right resources and advisors.
I don't know if that answers your question as each approach has it's own costs, time commitment, and process.

LinkedIn. LinkedIn. LinkedIn.

I like to use LinkedIn recruiter lite. Allows me to search outside of my network better.

Create a 1-3 pager summarizing your deal and you can InMail them and attach the document.
