How do you practice communication skills?

Im trying to figure out the best way to improve my pitch. Personally I use a mirror and then visualise delivering it in my head, seems to work pretty good so far but it could always be better. Whats some of the ways you guys practice?

I had a coach to tell me to take my talk for a walk -- with or without a companion.There's nothing like getting outdoors and walking while talking your presentation or pitch.
