how do you meet CEOs?

Curious how others are meeting CEOs. Here are my top 3 ways:
1) Investor conferences. I meet 100+ CEOs (mostly microcaps) at 5-10 conferences each year.
2) LinkedIn. I have over 5,000 CEO connections on LinkedIn, which results in###-###-#### CEOs a year messaging me to raise capital. A lot to wade through but resulted in our first private deal.
3) Referrals from other CEOs (new). Just started doing this, which is how we sourced our second deal.

Locally we have a CEO roundtable (Council of CEOs) and I have seen them in other cities as well. They meet every month, usually have a requirement to get in (revenue/employee size) for the CEOs but they allow outside vendors at certain events or sponsors. Great networking depending on the group.

I would say that probably the best way is building a good network, everything else will come along
