How do you manage work-life balance while running a search?

The search process can feel never-ending. Emails, calls, research, spreadsheets, meetings. It is easy for the line between work and life to disappear. Some searchers try to set strict schedules. Others accept the all-in lifestyle for a while. A few look for ways to delegate or automate parts of the work. I am curious, how do you handle the workload without burning out? What routines or habits help you keep going?

Habit - strict set-aside power hours (2); then let it go for the day...east the search part.

One thing I hear often is that searchers feel drained by repetitive tasks. Some who work with us hand those off to our Virtual Assistants, and it frees up a surprising amount of time. If you could delegate just one task in your search, which one would you give away first?
