How AI Can Power Your Entire Deal-Sourcing Pipeline #2
Virtual event
I’m currently a student at the University of Texas at Austin, and I’ve been spending a lot of time in the ETA and search fund world while working at a search fund myself. Building a deal-sourcing pipeline often requires several separate tools and a lot of manual work. Searchers have to find companies, determine whether they fit the acquisition thesis, research ownership, locate the right contacts, build relationships with M&A advisors, conduct outreach, and manage follow-ups. I built ASE Partners to bring those workflows together in one acquisition search engine. After the response to the first session, I’m hosting the second live demonstration in what I plan to make a weekly series. During this session, I’ll use a real acquisition thesis to demonstrate how ASE can help searchers: - Turn an acquisition thesis into structured sourcing criteria - Discover and rank proprietary acquisition opportunities - Analyze signals that may identify companies before a broad sale process - Verify real operating businesses and eliminate directories and false positives - Evaluate ownership, geography, company size, and business-model signals - Find and verify owner and decision-maker contact information - Identify relevant brokers and M&A advisors - Prepare personalized outreach through email, phone calls, and handwritten letters - Organize targets, contacts, decisions, and follow-ups in one workflow I’ll also discuss where AI is genuinely useful, where private-company information may remain uncertain, and where human judgment and further diligence are still necessary. This will be a practical live demonstration followed by questions and discussion. Bring a real acquisition thesis if you would like to see how it translates into a sourcing workflow.
