Hi All,
Quick question for this fantastic community. Is there a data source with historical transaction data going back to 2007? The reason is, as we are seeing a lot of volatility and recession signals, I want to see if or what transaction multiples regress. For instance, I focus on health care...if in 2007 healthcare, in general, had an average transaction multiple of 6x, but regresses to 4x in###-###-#### , I would like to see that data. I also don't want to pay a fortune for it if I can help it. Maybe it's found at
- Data collection company like Pitchbook (too expensive) or something similar
- Academic/Ph.D. thesis at Stanford, Harvard, NYU, Columbia, etc.
- Other sources?
Thank you for any feedback you may have.
Regards,
Michael Ballard
