ABOUT LEGACY Legacy Enclosure Partners is a purpose-built platform focused on partnering with and investing in building enclosure firms. We have a robust acquisitions pipeline of experts in commercial roof and window systems, building exteriors, and related technical services. Legacy provides these subject matter experts with the strategic capital and shared resources needed to accelerate growth and unlock the full potential of their firms. Legacy’s founder previously sourced, scaled, and sold a construction technology business and is developing Legacy into the premier brand in the building enclosure space. THE ROLE You will be the first hire on Legacy’s platform team, reporting directly to the Managing Partner. The role is hands-on in year one and expands into team leadership as the portfolio grows. Responsibilities include: – Own post-close integration of acquired companies — the 90-day plan, systems onboarding, and operating cadence. – Build shared services from scratch — recruiting, finance and reporting rhythm, vendor programs, and AI-driven tooling across the group. – Support live diligence on pipeline acquisitions alongside the Managing Partner and counsel. – Act as daily operating partner to portfolio company leadership. WHO YOU ARE – 4–8 years of experience in lower-middle-market private equity, portfolio operations, a search fund or holding company, or management consulting with meaningful operating exposure — including direct involvement in transaction execution and post-close integration. – Proficient with AI tools as a core working method, with a track record of applying them to real operating and analytical work. – Motivated by ownership and long-term value creation; comfortable trading near-term cash compensation for meaningful equity upside. – Ideally based in the Northeast with availability for regular travel to portfolio companies. Experience in commercial real estate or the architecture, engineering, and construction industry is a plus.
