Helping PE funds or recent acquisitions for free

I've previously founded and operated a software development agency, and currently want to expand into other businesses. I'm working on acquiring a distribution business with a partner right now, aiming to close Q1/Q2 next year. In the meantime, I want to learn as fast as possible about more of the PE world (especially curious about independent sponsorship model), and also how to succeed with a recently adopted business I haven't built myself. As such, I want to help independent sponsors, search funds, or recent acquirers, for free (especially with software & marketing) simply to learn faster. Candidly, will prioritise people with more experience from whom I can learn fastest.
