HELOC providers?

Has anyone taken out a HELOC to shield their homes from SBA collateral? Do you have any recommendations on providers? Are there things I should look out for when selecting a provider? Is it better to go with national brands (like Rocket Mortgage) or smaller regional providers? Thank you in advance!
