Head of Operations

The Opportunity We own a Vertical SaaS company serving a specific niche in the construction/home improvement market. We are looking for a Head of Operations to take the reins on the day-to-day business The Mandate: Instrument the Company We need someone to turn "noise" into "signal." You will be responsible for instrumenting the company—implementing the systems, dashboards, and playbooks required to run the business without constant founder intervention. Key Responsibilities: Operational Architecture: define and track the core KPIs of the business (Net Retention, Gross Margins, CSAT, Ticket Velocity). If it isn't measured, it doesn't exist. Customer Success & Support: Take full ownership of the post-sale experience. Manage onboarding, support, and retention. You are the "Shield" that protects the product team from daily fires. Team Coordination: Manage our distributed engineering and support resources to ensure we are shipping value, not just closing tickets. Financial Ops: Oversee billing, collections, and vendor management. The Ideal Candidate: SaaS Native: You understand the physics of a subscription business. Systemizer: You look at a messy process and instinctively want to build a Zapier workflow or a Notion playbook to fix it. High Autonomy: You don't need to be told what to do; you need to be told where we are going. Technical Literacy: You don't need to code, but you need to be able to speak intelligently with developers and understand the product constraints.
