This week’s podcast episode is a recording of a live panel discussion that I hosted during the 2022 MIT Sloan School of Management Search Fund Summit.

The panelists and I discuss the lessons that we've learned over the years having difficult conversations with our employees, customers, board members, and other stakeholders. We discuss three primary types of difficult conversations, including:

(1) Internal company dynamics (eg: terminations and periods of financial hardship);

(2) Dynamics external to the company (eg: politics and global affairs);

(3) Difficult conversations that CEOs must sometimes have with themselves (eg: how and when to ask for help).

This is also our first ever video podcast! The video can be viewed at the link below, or within Spotify.
