Has anyone looked into buying, in the renewable energy sector in Europe?

Dears, the renewable energy sector keeps marking new records in Europe, however manufacturing is mostly based in Asia, with only a few companies still manufacturing in Europe. EU states have often expressed the intention to bring some of this manufacturing back to local, however I still have not seen any concrete step in this sense. Has anyone looked at possibilities in this sector yet?
