I like it a lot and have found it useful. It was recommended to me by someone who is from the UK and doing deals primarily in the GCC. You mention "value for money" so I'm going to assume you're not budgeting for Pitchbook. Inven delivers a lot at the price they're asking.
Here's the thing, though - if you're just looking to do one deal in a country as small as the UK... you're probably overbuying if you get into a platform like this. Your first deal is probably in your contacts / on LinkedIn.

Inven is a quality platform but in terms of value, it is on the more expensive side. If you're looking for cheap options, I'd recommend finding ways to source companies yourself via web scraping and other more budget friendly options.
