I am currently interning and working with a search fund entrepreneur in the UK. I am really enjoying the type of work I am delving into and learning an array of new skills along the way. I was just curious to know if anyone in the community has had experience like this before and what they would recommend exploring/reading/watching etc...

I'd like to make the most of this opportunity so any suggestions or advice is welcome!

My original 2 interns became the head of our technology division and the head of our premium finance division. redacted and redacted . In addition the intern that managed the most interns for another search Nathan Israel can and did another stretch for us full time. Now he runs his own search. Max Sadler was an intern for Jay and Jason.....there are many others. I wouldn't stop at thinking of the immediate. Its a great community to have a long term career and many have then gone on to start their own search.

I was a search fund inten in college. Spent most of my time trawling the internet and services like Axial for interesting opportunities, making introduction emails on behalf of the actual searchers and doing basic administrative work. Would say that it was certainly an educational experience but one that gets old quite quickly given the limited scope of work you are typically given. It's understandable given the limited amount of experience you have as a college student but I would not recommend it for more than 2 months or so.
