Great business but the owner didn't want to leave?

Searchers -

Has anyone come across a great business where the owner wanted to sell but just couldn't bring themselves to stop managing the day to day operations (and thus wasn't a great fit for a search fund)? I'd love any referrals for situations like these. I'm looking to buy manufacturing or service businesses in the northeast/mid-atlantic doing $500K to $2M of EBITDA with owners who are interested in taking some chips off the table but also want to stay on and keep running and growing the business. I'll pay a $50K fee for any referrals that I end up closing on.
