Good Tips to Find Business Owners Contact info?

Hello,

Other than LinkedIn and Hoovers database, what are the other sources to find business owners contact information for COLD CALLING purposes. I heard Government websites would be able a good place to look at it, because most businesses has to register with the state or for licensing purposes, but couldn't find a suitable Government website for that research purpose.

Your input would be appreciated.

Data axle is what we used

ExactTarget, ListGiant and SalesGenie (now owned by data axle but cheaper) all work well to.

Also libraries usually have a good database with the card if you are just cold calling.

Sometimes you can look at their state company filing and find the information.
