Fellow searchers -
I have a goal of being hands-off (semi-absentee owner ~ who doesn't?). I fully recognize that I won't have the same skills as the owner who is currently running as an 'absentee. But I want to work towards this direction super quickly post-acquisition.
I recognize that I am much more of a strategic, high-level thinker who empowers others more than a day to day operations guy.
What is the best type of business to search for if I want to make myself redundant quickly so I can focus on other opportunities? Or do I really need a business partner that compliments me to pull this off?
