I wanted to share something that’s been coming up a lot in conversations lately with investors and lenders around diligence. Financial and QoE work always get plenty of attention, and rightfully so, but what we often hear from PE Search Funds is missing is a clear look at how the revenue engine actually works. That’s a gap we’ve been helping fill at Five Experts more recently, so wanted to share this trend if it's helpful. We’ve built a few structured GTM Due Diligence packages that help investors and operators understand revenue quality, not just the numbers, but the people, systems, and repeatability behind them. Each project is led by operators who’ve actually sat in CRO, CMO, or RevOps seats inside PE-backed and search-fund companies. They dig into things like (among many other factors not listed here): - Pipeline health and conversion velocity - Customer mix, pricing logic, and retention signals - The GTM infrastructure that supports growth post-close Our goal is to make this part of the process simple and cost-effective. Our packages for GTM due-diligence start at $1,500 and scale based on the level of diligence needed. We've done this in a number of industries, so understand nuances as well. If you’re evaluating a deal or refining your diligence process heading into 2026, I'd be happy to share the overview directly. You can DM me here or reach out at redacted It’s been encouraging to see more firms treating GTM diligence as a standard part of the process, because it ultimately helps solidify value on the other side. I've personally heard about the surprises along the way! While a lot of our work happens post-acquisition in those first five years, we’re seeing more activity on the diligence side, which is great for the ecosystem overall. Just reach out if we can help in any way! Our mission is to make the Search and PE community stronger.
