I know chatGPT is a kind of bottom layer of the future artificial intelligence application. And we can add more layers on top of that to satisfy different needs. Any concrete examples of it?

GPT 4 is definitely the next step up as far as a general/overall upgrade but as Atanas mentioned, depending on the features you are looking for it may be unnecessary as you can curate a system that works for you using plug ins or pairing it with another AI system that fulfills the missing links of GPT.

Yes, I've built software on top of ChatGPT. You use the OpenAI API to connect inside your software. Can be plugged into steps during a workflow that require some subjective analysis/categorization.
