General Manager / Operations Leader

We are currently under LOI for the acquisition of a company in the Raleigh, NC area and starting a search for a General Manager/Operations Leader to come in and take responsibility for the operations of the business. This leader would be responsible for day-to-day operations of a ~30 employee, ~$5.5m revenue, fairly equipment intensive business, and work together with me to chart out strategic growth opportunities for the business, both organic and inorganic. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is in their early- to mid-career, has some broad experience across different functional areas, and wants to get hands on in operating a business. Generous compensation package (salary, benefits, car) as well as an opportunity for profit-sharing and or equity. We are in the early stages and anticipate a deal closing in the December timeframe, but getting a head start on speaking to potential candidates. This is a unique opportunity for a candidate to potentially get involved in the later stages of due diligence and be prepared to take over day 1 after close. Additionally, the seller currently operating as General Manager will be staying with the business for 6-12 months post-close to aid in the transition and provide hands-on training.
